Kids in the Kitchen – Sydney

When the April school holidays role around get your little ones in the OzHarvest kitchens for our Kids in the Kitchen classes for a day of fun and food.

Kids in the Kitchen is a hands-on cooking and food education workshop for children. Practical cooking sessions are combined with activities that reinfoce healthy eating and food waste reduction – it’s a great way to keep your kids busy and having fun in the school holidays!

The session will include:

  • Learn to create simple, nutritious AND delicious foods, including handmade bread, healthy snacks and baked treats that can be replicated at home
  • Interactive games and activities that educate around the importance of enjoying a balanced diet and healthy eating
  • Learn more about OzHarvest and the work that we do in the community; as well as the environmental issue of food waste and poverty in Australia

All proceeds from this workshop will directly help OzHarvest deliver quality meals to vulnerable Australians and support our community education programs.

Kids aged 6-9years

Monday 16th April 2018, 8.45am-12pm (HALF DAY) – $60 per child

Monday 23rd April 2018, 8.45am-12pm (HALF DAY) – $60 per child


Kids aged 10-14years

Monday 16th April 2018, 12.45pm-4pm (HALF DAY) – $60 per child

Tuesday 17th April 2018, 8.45am-3pm (FULL DAY) – $110 per child
