OzHarvest Wagga Wagga

OzHarvest Wagga Wagga

The OzHarvest team began in Wagga Wagga in 2012 with a truckload of excess oranges! The team has been sourcing fruit and vegies and all manner of foods ever since, and it feels hard to believe that our volunteers now collect close to 4 Tonnes of great, surplus food every month. We distribute the food donations to our charity partners in Wagga and Junee up to six days a week and have gradually built our relationships with many local supermarkets, bakeries and primary producers.

We are grateful for the growing local support for our work and have enjoyed engaging with our supporters at The Wagga District Food Group; Tey’s Wagga; the North Riverina Counselling Service; Mt Austin Highschool; Probus and Rotary; Wagga Wagga council; Charles Sturt University and a number of local clubs and pubs.

We would love to hear from new supporters and volunteers.

Can OzHarvest deliver food to individuals?

Unfortunately our drivers are unable to deliver food to personal or private residences. If you are looking for support, ASK IZZY can help you to find the services you need, now and nearby. It is free and anonymous, and you can search services to find food, housing, healthcare, counselling, legal advice, addiction treatment. You’ll just need to add your suburb and it will display results that are nearest.
