James is the CEO of OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation, where he leads a team of 400 dedicated staff and over 3,000 passionate volunteers working towards our purpose; to Nourish Our Country.

Taking the helm in March 2024, James brings a strategic approach to OzHarvest’s leadership. His vision balances operational excellence with innovation; positioning OzHarvest to drive meaningful impact across food rescue, education, and advocacy. He has significantly elevated advocacy as a core pillar of the organisation’s impact, investing in systemic change initiatives and policy influence to address food waste and food insecurity at scale.

James joined OzHarvest from ASX-listed Seven Group Holdings, where he served as Chief Operating Officer. Previously, he held the position of Head of Strategy and Corporate Development at Woolworths Group and was a Partner at the Boston Consulting Group. He has also served on the Board of international NGO ActionAid Australia and the data company Quantium.
