OzHarvest Northern Territory
Tell us where you are
OzHarvest acknowledges the Larrakia, Bininj (Mungguy), Mirarr (Gundjeihmi) and Murlugan people as the original custodians of the land where our Darwin and Kakadu team is located. We pay our respects to them and their cultures, and to Elders past, present and emerging.

DonateFood Rescue
Lead by Food Rescue Project Lead James Ware, OzHarvest NT began delivering food to people in need in mid-November 2023. Every week, one van delivers 90 boxes of fresh fruit, vegetables and other quality fresh produce to 70 families in 12 remote Indigenous communities in Kakadu National Park, 4 ranger stations, 20 mob houses and 23 charities in the Darwin Region.
Volunteer
We are so grateful for the incredible three volunteers in Darwin who work tirelessly assisting our food operations to reach more people in our community. If you are interested in volunteering, opportunities are available both weekdays and weekends in Darwin and Kakadu.
We’d love to welcome you to the OzHarvest family! Please click the button below for more details.
FEAST
FEAST (Food Education and Sustainability Training) is a curriculum-aligned education program for primary and high schools, which explores the issue of food waste and its environmental impact, healthy eating and easy classroom cooking. Like any good FEAST, it’s designed to be fun, engaging and filled with good food!
Find out more about the program and how it aligns with the Australian Curriculum or get in touch with our NT FEAST Coordinator below.
Kakadu Kitchen X OzHarvest ‘Conscious Drink’
In 2023, we brought our first OzHarvest Ventures to life – Kakadu Kitchen x OzHarvest ‘Conscious Drink’. This delicious, lightly sparkling wine-alternative, zero-alcohol drink is made from beautiful blueberries sourced from Northern NSW that were destined for landfill. Proceeds from each bottle sold helps feed two people in need via OzHarvest and for every case sold we plant an edible native seedling in the Northern Territory.
Special Thanks
OzHarvest NT is committed to working with the community and connecting with local businesses. Since launching in late 2023, we have been fortunate to receive incredible support from the following local companies which we are so grateful for!
