With two menus on offer, there’s plenty of delicious dishes to choose from to suit your event needs. Everything on the menu is 100% vegetarian to reflect where we are at in the world to help protect our planet.

The Food Truck is making a big impact!
Every paid booking with our Food Truck helps pay it forward, enabling us to host a free community lunch for one of the 1,500 charities we support! From brightening days at public housing pop-ups to adding warmth to charity Christmas lunches, our Food Truck creates spaces for connection, addressing food insecurity, promoting inclusion, and strengthening community bonds. So far the Food Truck has delivered 28,595 nourishing meals at 27 free community events!

No. While we love rescued food, we use only locally-sourced produce at your event. You can choose to donate any food leftover from your event – so that no food goes to waste!
All proceeds from the Food Truck go directly to OzHarvest, Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. The Food Truck has a unique ‘buy one, give one’ offering, where all private or corporate events booked allow a hot lunch to be provided directly to feed vulnerable communities. Clients can now choose the charity that receives a free hot lunch on their behalf.
Excess food at the end of the event will be distributed directly to one or more of our partner charities who support people in need. Our zero-waste philosophy means your catering will not only help Aussies in need, but also help protect our environment.
The Food Truck is available day and evening – 7 days a week in the greater Sydney area.
Yes, the minimum spend for our Food Truck is $1,980 Mon – Fri, $2,250 Saturday and $2,480 Sunday (inc. GST). We require a minimum spend of $750 (incl GST) + delivery fee depending on distance from Alexandria HQ for our catering package. More details can be found in our Food Truck & Catering package here.
All prices for hiring the Food Truck also include:
- Up to two hours of service
- Up to one hour travel time from our HQ in Alexandria to your location
- Our fabulous chef, service team and additional wait staff
- Fully compostable packaging and cutlery
The OzHarvest Food Truck is 2265mm wide x 3240mm high x 7000mm long
We’ll need 2 parking bays if parallel parking or 4 standard parking spaces if parking in a car park area
It’s important that guests have safe access to the service window. Our window opens on the left hand (passenger) side
The Truck must have legal parking space for the entire setup and service time. Once we arrive on site to set up, the truck will need to be in the same location for up to 4 hours (or longer, as arranged)
The OzHarvest Food Truck is pretty special, but it’s subject to the same parking laws that apply to all other vehicles. Please make sure you identify an appropriate and legal parking space for the Food Truck in advance of your event
