The Nourish Program is a hospitality focused employment and engagement pathway for at-risk youth aged 16-25. The 18-week program blends foundation skills and industry training to prepare participants for study, work and self-sufficiency.
Students are drawn from agencies who receive food relief, schools, job service providers, youth support organisations and youth health services. The program is free of charge for participants, who are eligible to receive a Certificate II in Kitchen Operations upon successful completion. Nourish also covers healthy eating, sustainability and job-search skills and is delivered with the support of Registered Training Organisations, qualified industry professionals, volunteers and mentors.
