Cooking for a Cause

This is our most popular team-building cooking session! Led by OzHarvest chefs, you’ll enjoy a cooking session where you’ll learn zero waste cooking tips and tricks while preparing meals made with love, for those in need. You’ll get a taster at the end of the session to try the delicious meals you have created before our team of Food Rescue Drivers then deliver these meals to charities, supporting those in need.

Days: Monday to Friday

Times:

  • 9am – 12pm
  • 1pm – 4pm

Group size: Minimum 8 and maximum 30 people

Cost: $205 per person – tax deductible.

Location: OzHarvest Melbourne (3/49 Bertie St, Port Melbourne 3207) OR Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (if available).

** If you have a group bigger than 30 people, we recommend splitting the group in half, booking an AM and PM session on the same day and consider a Lunch and Learn to join the group.

Cooking for a Cause + Lunch and Learn

This is the perfect option for larger teams (30+) looking for personalised team event with purpose! We recommend booking in a morning and afternoon CFAC session, then in between all participants will be able to enjoy a stand-up style lunch together. During the lunch one of our passionate team members will share information about the OzHarvest story, food waste, sustainability, and ways to make a difference.

Days: Tuesday to Thursday

Times:

  • 9am – 12pm (Team 1 Cooks)
  • 12pm – 1pm (Lunch and Learn)
  • 1pm – 4pm (Team 2 Cooks)

Group size: Minimum 30 to maximum 60 people

Cost: $225 p/person

Cooking for a Cause - PLUS!

Make your Cooking for a Cause experience that extra bit special with our PLUS offering. After cooking up a storm in the kitchen, teams can enjoy a 3-course or buffet style sit down meal. This is your chance to enjoy some of the meals with your team in our OzHarvest warehouse and reflect together on the impact you’ve just made!

Days: Tuesday to Friday

Times:

  • 9am – 12pm (Cook)
  • 12pm – 1pm (Lunch)

Group size: Minimum 8 to maximum 20 people

Cost: $305 p/person.

Location: OzHarvest Melbourne (3/49 Bertie St, Port Melbourne 3207) OR Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre (if available).
