On Friday, 13 March 2015 the fifth annual Combined Suppliers Charity Golf Day supporting OzHarvest was held at the Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley.
The annual event is organised by four local companies from the kitchen manufacturing industry – Edstein Creative Stone; Euroform, Hafele Australia and Polytec with all money raised on the day donated to OzHarvest Newcastle.
The previous four events have allowed OzHarvest Newcastle to deliver more than 140,000 meals.
We are thrilled to announce that thanks to the generosity of the community and this industry, more than $30,000 was raised at this year’s event, allowing OzHarvest to deliver the equivalent of 60,000 more meals to people in need in the local community.
An extraordinary cumulative 200,000 meals will be delivered thanks to the combined charitable efforts over the years from the kitchen manufacturing industry and their amazing supporters.
