Our wonderful partners at Do Good Labs have cause for a triple celebration this month.  In addition to smashing their OzHarvest fundraising goal providing 500,000 meals, they are also continuing to support food rescue and have launched a new cookie range to support the cause! The team are excited to extend their fundraising goal to reach one million meals.

Dave Rifkin, Co-Founder and General Manager at Do Good Labs, said that partnering with OzHarvest was an easy choice for the team. “Do Good Labs are on a mission to improve mental health in Australia, and we know that through the pandemic, Aussies who are struggling to put food on the table have higher stress levels which effect mental and physical wellbeing. OzHarvest’s incredible impact, national reach, and their passionate yellow army of volunteers made them the perfect match.”

“It couldn’t be easier to support someone in need, a donation from every snack sold in Woolworths goes directly to helping OzHarvest. And with a new range of cookies being released this month, we hope to see even more meals going to vulnerable communities,” said Dave.

Last week, the Do Good Labs team sent boxes of the new cookie range to OzHarvest offices as a thank you to our drivers for their continued work through the latest round of restrictions. Hally Lara, OzHarvest’s National Partnership Lead, said Do Good Labs are huge community supporters. “It was such a joy for our teams to receive the cookies, particularly during such a challenging time. Do Good Labs are a valued member of the OzHarvest family and always go that extra mile to help ‘Nourish our Country.’ ”
