OzHarvest Brisbane is very excited to welcome a third vehicle to our collection fleet. The Mercedes Sprinter refrigerated van has been generously donated by Paul Newman’s Own, with diesel fuel provided by Caltex.

Having a third vehicle will allow OzHarvest to significantly increase collections and deliveries in the greater Brisbane area, as well as expand our area of service and connect to new food donors and charities. With a capacity of just over two pallets, the van will mean an additional 1500kg of food per week can now be rescued from landfill and donated to those in need. The new van will be manned by volunteers until money can be raised to fund a third full-time driver.
