For the first time, CEOs were able to bring their teams to the OzHarvest CEO CookOff™, partnering with top Australian chefs to prepare gourmet meals for our 1,400 guests.
23 teams – including Woolworths, Electrolux, Frucor Suntory and Deloitte – signed up for the 2018 event, raising funds to help OzHarvest deliver meals to Australians in need. Competition at the top of the fundraising leader board was fierce with BP Australia raising $115,472 to finish in the top spot, just ahead of PwC on $107,026. Rounding out the top three was Hydro Produce whose last minute donations saw them take out the hotly contested third place, raising $70,009.
A huge thank you to all our teams whose incredible fundraising efforts will help OzHarvest’s wheels keep turning in order to rescue quality surplus food and deliver it to vulnerable Australians.
