On Sunday 13 October, 2013 OzHarvest Newcastle held our 2nd annual fundraising lunch. This year it was held at Rustica Newcastle Beach.

Seven wonderful chefs donated their time and produce for the event. Thanks to Mark Hosie & Peter Bryant from Rustica Newcastle Beach, Beau & Suzi Vincent from subo; Leslie Taylor from Made by Lesley Taylor; Chris Thornton from Restaurant Mason; Jacque Brown from Sprout Honeysuckle; Tom Robinson and The Essential Ingredient Newcastle.

The event was a huge success, raising $72,000 through ticket sales, auction prizes & raffle tickets sold.

Thank you to the chefs who provided the most delicious meals. Thank you to Leonie Young from the Essential Ingredient for putting the event together so brilliantly and for your generosity. Thank you to Neil Slater for your amazing ability to get things done. Thank you to all of our guests for your generosity. We hope you enjoyed yourselves and we will see you all again next year.
