This leftover Christmas tray bake is an easy use it up recipe that transforms leftover ham and cheese into a meal that’s perfect for everyone. 100g peas 

300g leftover ham, chopped 

3 sprigs shallots, sliced 

Leftover cheese, grated 

500ml cream 

Fresh parsley, chopped 

1 packet pre-cooked pasta (al dente) 

Butter & oil, for cooking 

Extra cheese for topping 

How

1.Preheat oven to 180°C. 

2.In a pan, cook the shallots in butter and oil until soft. Add the ham, peas, cheese, and cream, and stir together. 

3.Add parsley and cook down until the mixture thickens. 

4.Mix the creamy ham and veg mixture into the cooked pasta. 

5.Pour into a baking tray, grate extra cheese on top, and bake for 15 to 20  minutes until golden and bubbly.
