Food Rescue
OzHarvest began on the Central Coast in 2020 as part of our crisis response to the increasing demand for food relief. With one yellow van on the road, our driver Luke is busy rescuing food and delivering it to charities on the Central Coast. Our impact spans all the way from Woy Woy in the south to San Remo in the north. We’re committed to delivering quality food to vulnerable people in our community.

Food Relief during COVID-19
The Central Coast Hamper Hub based in Tuggerah launched in June 2020 and is running until December 2020. Our committed team of volunteers packed more than 9,500 hampers filled with goodness and love, which were delivered to people in need throughout the Central Coast community.

Volunteer
Starting only in June of this year, our Central Coast chapter has already made a huge impact in the region. Led by Annika Stott and Luke McKelvey with a team of passionate local volunteers, they have already delivered hundreds of thousands of meals to people in need, supporting 20 charities on the Central Coast. FEAST
FEAST (Food Education and Sustainability Training) is a curriculum aligned program aimed at year 5 and 6 students. FEAST runs for 7-10 weeks and is a STEM project-based learning program focusing on food and sustainability. The teacher-led program can be adapted and changed to suit your school’s needs.
Like any good FEAST, it’s designed to be fun, engaging and filled with good food.
